• Studio 2 | Wilson Day | Spring 2011
These is the base matrix of nine models showing different strategies realted to phenomenological studies in light/heavy, compression/expansion, and enclosure/exposure

  • Site study of compression/expansion. Created using a Wacom pen tablet.

  • Plan set for an urban house located in the Highlands neighborhood, North-West of Denver, Colorado.

  • The second house created was entered in the Modern in Denver  Magazine Modern House Competition. These sheets were cut out and put into a CD case for the presentation.

  • The house was designed to be a flexible space that would accommodate a family of two parents along with their unemployed, college-educated children until the children could move out. The flexible spaces would then be re-configured to suit the programmatic needs of the parents. As a result, the two "bedrooms" would be turned into a piano studio and an office.

  • The final house was designed for a sloped site located in Genesee, Colorado (about 30 minutes west of Denver along I-70).
